Karnival @ Cab Vol, 12 Dec

A festive time party with Karnival's residents and friends, namely Mike Pinkerton, Ryan Ellis and Matt Edwards in the main room, playing house and techno, with Craig Reid and Barry Fell in the other spinning deep house and disco.

Since its inception, Karnival has put together a wide variety of local talent and live acts along with well known special guests from further afield. To date these guests have included people such as Jim Rivers, Paolo Mojo, Gene Farris, Tim Deluxe, Chris Coco, John Acquaviva, Funk D'Void, Graeme Park, Fisher & Price, Huggy, Gareth Sommerville and Derek Martin.

As well as appealing guest line-ups, Karnival also has a trio of resident DJs in the shape of Mike Pinkerton, Matt Edwards and Ryan Ellis, who promise that the December outing will offer some warm escapism from the cold weather outside. [Anna Seale]
