Jonny Depp "Sexiest Man Alive"
Johnny Depp has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2009.
The 46-year-old Hollywood heartthrob has proven he can still sends hearts fluttering after topping the list for a second time. Johnny finished ahead of fellow movie star Ryan Reynolds, 33.
Johnny is praised for his brooding good looks, career longevity and his role as loving father to 10-year-old daughter Lily-Rose and seven-year-old son John Jack - his kids with long-term partner Vanessa Paradis.
People magazine said: "From a sexy swashbuckler in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise to quirkier roles like Edward Scissorhands, the 46-year-old star has had women swooning since his days as a teen detective on 21 Jump Street. Yet it's his devotion to his family that really makes the actor so endearing.
"The father-of-two still reigns as Hollywood's most irresistible iconoclast; as one-of-a-kind as his beloved 15-year-old boots and as smouldering as his favourite Cuban cigars."
Johnny previously claimed the title in 2003 and is one of only three men to win twice - alongside Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
Jake Gyllenhaal, 28, finished in third place, while The Hangover star Bradley Cooper claimed the fourth spot and 44-year-old Robert Downey Jr. was fifth.
British soccer star David Beckham, Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon and American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert also made it into the top 10.
