Forget the Night Ahead is released via FatCat on 5 Oct.
Since the first record, some of the things we've been doing are: playing gajillions of gigs round UK, Europe, America and Canada, drinking too much, not sleeping, living in vans, locking keys in vans, putting out invisible fires in hotels with fire extinguishers, getting fined, fighting with people that throw glasses, meeting our alter-egos, kicking world invaders off the stage, meeting goobers and taking the pish out of them, losing shoes and spewing in them, losing band members, sleepwalking in showers, getting vans searched by sniffer dogs, going to the Reeperbahn and some awkward scud clubs, losing suitcases, having birthdays, getting heatstroke at the Cubs game, falling down the rocky steps, nearly falling on fireworks, passing out on stage, getting chased by the police, renaming ourselves "The Cunts" for the Pitchfork festival, giving laptops a drink, getting gear stolen, blowing up amps, getting married to Guns N' Roses songs, getting on planes, trains and buses, recording a new album and a million other things that have fallen out of my head at this point in time.
This was the soundtrack:
1. The Birthday Party - The Friend Catcher
2. Neu! - Negativland
3. Deerhoof - Jagged Fruit
4. Black Sabbath - Into the Void
5. ESG - Dance
6. Pavement - Harness Your Hopes
7. Shellac - Shoe Song
8. Liars - Broken Witch
9. Toots & The Maytals - 54-46 (That's My Number)
10. Guns n' Roses - Coma

Hey Andy, this is an excellent top ten list. "Into the Void" is one of my favorite songs, Ozzy is a musical genius. I like you eclectic taste in music and will have to check some of the songs on this list I haven't heard before. You can cross-post this to our site http://www.toptentopten.com/ and link back to your site. We are trying to create a directory for top ten lists where people can find your site. The coolest feature is you can let other people vote on the rankings of your list.
