T in the Parklife? Blur Announce Scottish Return
Following the recent news that Blur have joined a long list of bands to reunite and tour the nostalgia circuit (let's be having you, Color Me Badd), it was announced today that the likely lads of Britpop will headline the main stage at T in the Park on Sunday, 12 July.
Having made their debut appearance in King Tut's Wah Wah Tent at Strathclyde Park's original T alongside a fledgling Oasis and Pulp in 1994, this year they'll join a cast of characters which so far includes Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon and Katy Perry in Balado, Kinrosshire.
This forthcoming performance is billed as Blur's only appearance in Scotland this summer. The on sale date for tickets is yet to be announced.
Will you be going? Got any requests? The Skinny's partial to a bit of Coffee and TV...

Add a comment »when they say 'summer' do they mean the week before, and the week after, TITP?
anyways, their back catalogue has a good deal of variety in it to make it a decent festival act
