Hinterland Music Festival @ Various Glasgow Venues, 30 Apr-1 May

Everyone knows Glasgow is a musical hubbub, an inked-in city for any band that wants a career. But there’s always that pesky business of buying individual tickets. Well, the guys at Hinterland have compiled over 80 hugely varied bands and flat-packed it all into two days and 15 venues like beautiful Swedish architects of sound. From the Hot Chip dazzled pop of Findo Gask to the new faces of twee, Zoey Van Goey, to the Kitsune smothered electro of We Have Band - you’ll be spoiled for choice. And with more nationally recognised bands soon to be announced there’s only one ticket you need.
