Optimo Espookio @ Sub Club, Glasgow, 2 Nov

The tenth annual Optimo Espookio takes place in the depths of the usual venue on 2 November this year. Dressing up isn't so much encouraged as made the law for the evening. The fiercely loyal crowd get pretty competitive with their costumes at this time of year so you may want to think outside the box - a mere witches hat isn't going to make the grade if you want to win the famous Halloween cup. Resident DJs and local legends JD Twitch and JG Wilkes provide the soundtrack to the festivities, which will no doubt be a brilliant eclectic mix with a horror theme.
