Tigers are sexy. Not even in an anthropomorphic sexy-rabbit-off-the-old-Cadbury's-Caramel-ads kind of way, they're just sexy. It's probably 'cause they're warm-blooded, and look kind of cuddly despite being so striking-looking, and this they have in common with sexy people. Also, like sexy people, they have it in them to obliterate you as soon as look at you - which is an exciting state of existential tension even before the sun goes down.

All this means that anything going by the name Night of the Tiger is fairly enticing quite apart from what's actually in store - so it's with some expectation that we're looking forward to Friday night at the Arches. The occasion is a promotional expo for Tiger beer, which curry eaters everywhere know is tasty stuff, and accordingly has considerable blow-out credentials to get you along. Headlining the show will be Fabric resident and Kiss FM deej Sinden, whose recent spate of remixes have reasserted him as one of the most forward-looking producers in the game. There will also be a live set from The Teenagers - so plenty to listen and get down to. There will also be performances from ladyboys and martial arts experts (together?), so there'll be plenty of talking points for afters.

Best of all, tickets are free, so if you like the sound of all this then head over to nightofthetiger.com to register for your place on the list.
