The diversity of race, culture and gender is mirrored by the diversity of bisexual identities

It's a well-documented fact that every publication relating to bisexuality has to have a pun in the title. It gets a little tiresome, you know? Nonetheless, it's worth delving into this book as it offers inclusion and validation, not only by representing bisexual people in the first place, but by extending its vision beyond the USA, something that otherwise good resources often fail to do. The diversity of race, culture and gender is mirrored by the diversity of bisexual identities – you'll find traces of your own experiences as well as those you don't relate to, altogether contributing to a deeper examination of bisexuality than the occasional glossed-over portrayal afforded us by the mainstream. The section at the back is particularly useful, from an extensive list of books with bisexual themes to etiquette tips for bi people working with lesbians and gay men. Seek back-up information if you're reading the safer sex tips part, though – it recommends using two condoms at once, which is widely recognised by health professionals as a Bad Fucking Idea. [Nine]
